With decades of established equity, the Momentum brand was overdue for a refresh and planned to launch at one of the biggest trade shows of the year. Time was of the essence as our team dove in to conduct research and establish a unique brand position to restructure the messaging and visuals to follow suit. Our challenge was to build a brand that had momentum.
It’s a rewarding feeling that you get as a pet owner when you know that you’re giving your companion something that’s delicious, nutritious, and improves their quality of life. Everytime you give your pet a treat feels like an occasion to celebrate. As we developed the unique brand position, we rooted our approach in the idea that when you give your pet momentum, it’s cause for celebration.
On packaging, a rectangular window that’s moving in the right direction creates a design element that’s repeated in a way that almost feels like confetti. This subliminal visual cue sets the stage for emotional benefits and provides consistency and eye catching impact across the shelf. In addition to packaging, we worked to update every aspect of the brand identity and left no stone unturned as they prepared to launch this brand update.
Momentum Carnivore Nutrition is now on an intentional brand path and leveraging their new sustainable competitive advantage to expand distribution and customer loyalty. Future branded initiatives, products and marketing opportunities will be guided by the new brand positioning.
